Rustam Minnikhanov defines possible areas of cooperation with South American partners

During his visit to Uruguay head of the region noted that «geographical distance of Russia and South America, wariness of companies in the development of new markets should not interfere to the establishment of new contacts, including contacts of Tatarstan and Uruguayan business community».

Mr. Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan is aimed at development cooperation with South American partners in areas such as engineering, automotive, advanced technology and innovative development, agriculture, transport and logistics, sports, tourism and other areas.

«Tatarstan, as one of the leading scientific and educational centers of Russia, invites South American students to the universities, - said the President of Tatarstan. - Kazan – the sports capital of Russia - will be glad to see Uruguayan athletes at the World Aquatics Championships in 2015 and the World Cup in 2018».

Rustam Minnikhanov invited guests and participants of I Conference «Globalization and new centers of influence» to visit the country and expressed confidence in the great potential of cooperation with South American partners.
