A meeting with the Vice-President of Uruguay in Montevideo

With Danilo Astori, who is the vice-president of Uruguay and President of the General Assembly (Parliament) of Uruguay, met the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

Welcoming Danilo Astori, Mr. Minnikhanov shared that he is glad for the opportunity to learn more about Uruguay, to meet the socio-economic, scientific-technical and cultural development of the state, to explore the possibilities of economic cooperation, to establish contacts between business circles. Head of the region expressed the hope that the mutual interest between the two regions is undoubtedly will give an opportunity to implement joint projects.

«I believe the international conference, which opened today in Montevideo, will give an additional impulse to the development of friendship and cooperation relations between Russia and Uruguay, will strengthen the relationship between the regions», - underscored Mr. Minnikhanov.
