In Montevideo hold a visit to the World Trade Center’s Free Zone

During the tour of the World Trade Centre (WTC) Free Zone Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and WTC Commercial Director Mario Tucci discussed intelligent technologies in the implementation of services, exported remotely via the free economic zones, industrial parks and innovative platforms.

Mr. Minnikhanov during the conversation said that in addition to the traditional areas of the real economy, such as the automotive and aircraft industry, ship and helicopter building, agriculture and petroleum refining, to the Republic of Tatarstan is important to develop new directions – IT-technology, telecommunications, robotics. These segments, as the President of the Republic of Tatarstan underscored, can bring to Tatarstan and Uruguayan partners opportunities to implement mutually beneficial projects.

Tatarstan President offered Uruguayan partners to visit the country and acquaint with the republican projects: IT-parks in Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny, Innopolis, Kazan Smart City.

Montevideo World Trade Center was founded in 1993. This is one of the most important international trade organizations in Uruguay. Here are five buildings, a free trade zone, two galleries. In the complex operates more than 550 companies. They keep in touch with members of the World Trade Center Association and other international institutions related to international trade and tourism.
