Tatarstan investor relations practice was presented to the delegation of the Republic of Karelia

Experience of the Republic of Tatarstan on investment attraction was discussed with the representatives of the delegation at the meeting held in Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.

Delegation of the Republic of Karelia in the working trip to Tatarstan is headed by the head of the region Alexander Khudilainen. During the visit is scheduled to meet with President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the signing of a new agreement on trade, economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural cooperation for a period of 5 years.

Karelia is interested with the experience of Tatarstan in attracting investment, the implementation of major projects and programs: Alexander Khudilainen put members of the delegation to study in detail the experience of Tatarstan, as one of the most successful of the Russian Federation. To the delegation is prepared an extensive program including visits of Kazan businesses, platforms and companies on different areas of cooperation.

In Tatarstan Investment Development Agency held a meeting with the investment unit of the delegation of the Republic of Karelia, in particular the meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Economic Development Sergey Alimpiev and Management Company of business incubator CEO Lyudmila Arnautova. Lyudmila Arnautova said that in Karelia business incubator located region’s Guarantee Fund, Public Office of entrepreneurs’ rights and Export-oriented enterprises Support Center.

During the meeting participants discussed the experience of interacting with investors, forming of the regions’ investment policy, the development of industrial areas and parks, as well as support of investment projects and working on export promotion.
