China to host the International Fair for Trade and Investment

CIFIT is organized under the patronage of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Ministry of Commerce of China, with the support of UN agencies, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA).
In the period from 7 to 11 September 2014 the International Agency of Socio-Economic Development together with the Russian-Asian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, with the support of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Guangzhou will organize a business visit of the Russian delegation to «The 18th China International Fair for Investment and Trade »and International Investment Forum (IIF).
Events will be held in South China, Fujian Province, a member of the consular district of Guangzhou. CIFIT is a showcase of global business opportunities and investment barometer. It is regarded as an important international platform for attracting foreign investment in China's economy, and to provide a large-scale entering of Chinese investors to the foreign markets.
At the Fair 2013 were presented products, services and investment projects of more than 50 countries. It has been visited by more than 600 foreign delegations. In 2014, the organizers expect to increase the participation of the Russian delegation, in connection with the important May events in the bilateral relations between China and Russia, which are measured by an increase in the political and economic cooperation between the countries. Within CIFIT planned Russian-Chinese Symposium and making presentations by the Russian participants. It will be attended by the Russian governmental delegation headed by First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Igor Shuvalov.
