Within WAIPA training discuss regional projects on public-private partnership

Practical aspects of the PPP projects implementation discussed with the heads of the Investment Development Agencies and Development Corporations of the Russian Federation’s regions.

Final, the third day of the «Public Private Partnership» training was designated as the «practical environment» where topics for discussion were concrete projects in the field of public-private partnership, implemented or planned for implementation in the Russian regions.

Together with the head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov, Executive director of the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) Carlos Bronzatto and Southern African Development Office Speaker Kogan Pillay, the participants discussed the projects structuring, the problems of their implementation and ideas, where is possible to use PPPs.

The heads of the Investment Development Agencies and Development Corporations of Russian regions spoke about the practice of implementing similar projects in their regions and shared their plans on the prospects for the development of public-private partnerships.
