The Chambers of Commerce of Vietnam and the Republic of Tatarstan sign a memorandum of understanding

The document was signed during the meeting of the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the delegation of the Republic and Vietnam business community.

Document was signed by the Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Tatarstan Shamil Agueyev and Chairman of Chamber of Commerce of Vietnam Vu Tien Loc.

During the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov told about the Republic of Tatarstan – its geographical location, socio-economic and industrial potential. Investment opportunities of the region represented Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov.

On the development of the tourism industry of the Republic of Tatarstan told the Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on Tourism Sergey Ivanov. Brief presentations of their companies made the representatives of JSC «Kazan Helicopter Plant», JSC «KAMAZ», Zelenodolsk plant Gorky, «Tatchempreparaty», JSC «Tatneftekhiminvest-holding» and others.

Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Tatarstan Shamil Agueyev reported that a preliminary agreement has been reached that in the near future Russian-Vietnamese business forum will be held in Kazan. According to Shamil Ageev, signed a memorandum of understanding between the Chambers of Commerce of Vietnam and the Republic of Tatarstan is the foundation for the development of mutually beneficial relations – both with Tatarstan and the Vietnamese side.
