The Delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan visits high-tech park «Hoa Lac» in Hanoi

The site is located near the capital of Vietnam – Hanoi, in close proximity to the international airport.

High-Tech Park «Hoa Lac» was established to make research and development of innovative projects; for production and financial support to high-tech products. There is a business incubator for companies producing high-tech goods and services, staff training for the high-tech sector.

Senior representatives of the «Hoa Lac» told about the creation and development of high-tech park, on the assigned tasks. Thus, the decision to create such a platform was adopted 10 years ago. «Hoa Lac» was the first such high-tech park in Vietnam (now the country has three sites – in Hanoi, Hochiminh City and Da Nang, all three – areas of national importance).

Advice on the establishment and construction of the «Hoa Lac» gave Japanese representatives, Japanese experts now take part in the construction of park infrastructure.

The total area of the park is 1,600 hectares and is divided into four zones, including a zone of training and education (here are the universities of Vietnam and Japan, schools), area of research and development (includes research institutes, laboratories), the software creation zone, etc.

The park was originally built according to the principle of «smart city». For companies that operate in the Hi-Tech Park, established preferential treatment. In the period from 2012 to 2018 is planned construction at the park, such as buildings, residential housing, and infrastructure.
