Tharman Shanmugaratnam: «I am very impressed with the desire of Tatarstan's leadership in the development and cooperation»

Impressions from the visit to the Republic of Tatarstan, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Finance of Singapore Tharman Shanmugaratnam shared during the fifth session of the Russian-Singapore Intergovernmental Commission, co-chaired by First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Igor Shuvalov. In the commission participated the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

Opening the meeting, Tharman Shanmugaratnam noted the growing cooperation of Singapore with the Russian regions, emphasizing Tatarstan, which he personally visited last year.

«I am very impressed with the desire of Tatarstan's leadership in the development and cooperation», - shared Mr Shanmugaratnam.

At the end of the committee meeting held the signing of several agreements. In particular, in the presence of Igor Shuvalov and Tarman Shanmugaratnama signed an agreement on cooperation between the Innopolis University and National University of Singapore.
