Within the «Baltach Halal – 2014» holds a meeting on the establishment of the Inter-regional agroprompark on the border of three Russian regions

In formed Inter-regional development zone is expected to include the Baltasi region of the Republic of Tatarstan, Malmyzhsky region of the Kirov oblast and Mari-Turek region of the Republic of Mari El.

Meeting chaired by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov held in an expanded format. In particular, it was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Mari El, the AV Group company (involved in developing of the «Strategy 2030»), the Executive committee of Baltasi region, Marie-Turek Region, the Chamber of Commerce and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, Tatarstan Export Corporation, «Baltach» Halal industrial park, National Association of «Halal» industry, the Committee on the standard of «Halal» of the Administration of Tatarstan’s Muslims.

In the concept of inter-regional development zone is the international successful experience of socio-economic transformation on the basis of the formation of areas of advancing economic growth, called «economic corridor development». The main mechanism of the functioning of these areas – industry concentration of the productive forces.

The idea of creating the Interregional agroprompark based on agro-orientation of all three areas: they share the work in the field of livestock, crops, meat and milk processing. The project will generate in the border areas the complex infrastructure that provides organizational and technical assistance to agricultural producers, efficient transport logistics, processing or to arrange a guaranteed sales of products. All this in turn will increase the investment attractiveness of the regions, as well as the financial stability of households.

Discussing and supporting the establishment of inter-regional corridor economic development, the participants of the meeting agreed to set up working groups for a more detailed discussion on the proposed concept.
