In accordance with the rules of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Linar Yakupov was nominated for his outstanding contribution to the development of a new model of an innovative society by representative of Kazan Global shapers Community.
In addition to Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive, Eurasia at the Council for 2014-2016 as part of «The multinational aspect» working group will be represented by adviser to the President of the Sberbank of Russia Ruben Vardanyan.
About the Council on the Global Agenda
Council on the Global agenda of the World Economic Forum was established in 2008. Its structure includes the representatives of 87 countries. In the world today there are 86 such associations, which includes senior managers and top managers of global corporations and industry giants, world experts of finance and prominent figures of the global economy.
Work of the Council aimed at identifying the primary and long-term objectives of the global international agenda and the search for solutions to regional and international issues in the field of investment and industrial development.
In addition to the regular online work the members of the Global Agenda gather annually at the Summit in the UAE to personally discuss the most pressing issues, including global risks, the latest trends and perspective ideas. Council on the Global Agenda is developing a set of recommendations and suggestions, which, among other issues, will be considered at the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
