The Republic of Tatarstan and the Danish company «Danfoss» continues cooperation

The intent to continue and strengthen the cooperation between the region and the international Danish concern was stated during the meeting of the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan headed by Rustam Minnikhanov with the company in Copenhagen.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the «Danfoss» company has extensive experience in Russia and in recent years it has close and productive relationships with Tatarstan. President and CEO of «Danfoss» Niels Christiansen in response said that also satisfied with the cooperation with the Republic of Tatarstan and confirmed the company's intentions for further work. He also reported that the localization of companies’ production in Russia will continue. In particular, now they are working on the construction of a new plant in Nizhny Novgorod.

For Rustam Minnikhanov and Tatarstan delegation made a presentation of «Danfoss» new projects  in Russia, including the products manufactured in the country. According to the company, in recent years investment in Russia amounted to 80 million euro, the number of employees at the Russian enterprises – about 1 thousand persons.

About relations with Danfoss

In May 2014 in Kazan held a joint conference on energy-saving technologies, where was signed an agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and the "Danfoss" company. In the area of housing and construction, as well as in the sphere of industry and energy produced a number of projects on modernization of heating systems; developed projects of electricity consumption; collaborates with the leading enterprises of Tatarstan. For example, signed a cooperation agreement with KSEU.

In Tatarstan production equipment of «Danfoss» is equipped on the about 1.5 thousand buildings in Kazan and more than 1 thousand in Naberezhnye Chelny, major sports facilities of Universiade (energy-saving equipment). At the leading enterprises of the republic implemented «Danfoss» technologies to reduce energy consumption (Taif, «Nizhnekamskshina», «Nizhnekamskneftekhim», JSC «Ammonium» and others). On the SEZ «Alabuga» industrial buildings of several resident companies are equipped with «Danfoss» energy-saving equipment.
