President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov meets with Kamchatka Territory Governor Vladimir Ilyuhin

Tatarstan and the Kamchatka Territory have great potential for the development of mutually beneficial economic cooperation. This was stated by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at a meeting with Kamchatka Governor Vladimir Ilyukhin. The meeting, held in the Kazan Kremlin, was also attended by Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin, First Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin, as well as Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina.

President of Tatarstan declared readiness of the republic to organize the place of direct sales of Kamchatka Territory’s products, for example at the beginning in the Agroprompark area.

At the same time, according to Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan produces a wide range of engineering products which may be of interest to the Kamchatka Territory.

Kamchatka Governor Vladimir Ilyukhin in turn thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for the opportunity to visit and get acquainted with the achievements of the republic.

At the end of the meeting, Vladimir Ilyukhin expressed admiration for the Sviyazhsk Island. "I would like to see students Kamchatka visited Kazan, including the island of Sviyazhsk, so they will know how great and beautiful our country is", - said the Governor of the region.

Following the meeting, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan gave appropriate instructions on the organization of the trip.
