The meeting of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan with Chairman of "Zorlu Holding"

On December 8 in the House of the Government of Tatarstan held a meeting of  Chairman of the "Zorlu Holding" company Ahmet Zorlu and the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. Among the representatives of the Republic was Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina.

The sides discussed a range of issues of mutual interest.

The first was the possible establishment of textile cluster based on polymer components with the use of the potential of the Republic of Tatarstan. According to Rustam Minnikhanov, this trend is perspective, if it will be based on synthetic materials. “We must use our resource potential and resources to create this modern cluster”, - he said. On behalf of the President, a working group to examine the options for the development of this direction will be created. The working group will include representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan and JSC "Tatneftekhiminvest-holding".

The second issue, discussed by participants of the meeting – is a joint projects in the sphere of creation of generation capacity in Tatarstan and in particular, in Kazan. Mr. Minnikhanov said that today in the capital is deficit of electricity. This is especially true for Kazan Republican Clinical Hospital (RCH), as well as a special economic zone "Alabuga" (Elabuga region), where electricity is needed for the growing needs of companies - SEZ residents. To explore this issue will also be created a working group, which will include energy experts.
