Important social debate dedicated to the International Anti-Corruption Day held yesterday in Kazan IT-park. The event was attended by Chairman of the State Council Farid Mukhametshin, and also Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Waist Minullin.
Farid Mukhametshin said that in annual address of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan to the State Council of Tatarstan emphasized the need for the formation of an anti-corruption culture among the population. In this process, an urgent task is to create an atmosphere of public intolerance of corruption around the patterns of thought and behavior; in this case it is a question of education and culture, moral guidelines and restrictions.
To the event participants were shown a film dedicated to the Anti-corruption in Tatarstan, and, in particular, the workof the Office of the President on anti-corruption policy.
Summarizing the work of the "round table" Farid Mukhametshin noted that the suggestions made today will not go unheeded, and some ideas may be subject to further legislative work.
Anti-corruption policies deployed in the republic on a variety of fronts. Tatarstan became one of the first regions of the Russian Federation, which adopted a holistic Strategy of anti-corruption policy and the basic "On Anti-corruption" law, is implemented comprehensive anti-corruption program for 2012 - 2014 years, and in July the Government of Tatarstan approved the State Program on implementation of anti-corruption policy for 2015 - 2020 years.
