Implementation of Kazan Smart City continues

Kazan Smart City was initiated in 2012.

There is developed a master plan, prepared planning documentation, legal documents to work with residents, identified tax incentives for residents. In order to improve the project management decided to restructure JSC "Tatarstan Development". In 2015 an inter-ministerial preparatory work was carried out for the design of engineering infrastructure.

On January 28, 2015 by the initiative of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a general republican meeting.

Head of the republic instructed on evaluation of integrated development, including Smart City.

"Smart City project cannot be frozen, since the construction of" smart "cities is a global trend. Agreements have been reached with a number of investors. Separately, I will note that the area allocated for the project is a "golden" land, as is located in close proximity to the international airport and the third capital of Russia. Work to attract investors to this area will continue", - noted TIDA Chief Executive Taliya Minullina.
