TIDA joined Earth Houre action

Tatarstan Investment Development Agency took part in the annual international campaign "Earth Hour", which was held on March 28 from 20:30 to 21:30 by Moscow time. One hour has been disabled architectural - decorative lighting of the Agency building, as well as taken other measures to reduce energy consumption.

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan addressed to the state and municipal authorities with a request to join the event. The event is organized by the World Wildlife Fund annually on the last Saturday of March. Action symbolizes solidarity of the residents of different countries in solving the problems of energy and resources, improving the environment on a global scale.

 As in 2014 in Kazan at the time of the event has been disabled architectural and decorative lighting of "Kazan Kremlin" Museum, including the residence of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan - the Governor's Palace, Syuyumbike Tower, Kul Sharif Mosque, Annunciation Cathedral and other buildings of the ensemble and buildings of the Cabinet of Ministries and the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan. The biggest in Europe and the world media facades of the stadium "Kazan Arena" was disabled. In addition, Kazan City Hall participated in the event, turning off lighting of its buildings and district administrations. In the event participated people of all municipalities, more than 400 enterprises and organizations of the republic. As a result of the "Earth Hour" campaign saved 160 MW capacities.
