In Kazan discussed the development of creative industries

 Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina participated in the International Conference on the development of creative industries Calvert Forum «Problems of post-industrial economy, new ways of development". The event took place on April 11-12 in the Kazan IT-Park.

The Forum brought together Russian and international experts in the field of cultural policy, Urban and regional branding.

Conference participants discussed issues such as improving the investment attractiveness of the Russian Federation regions, the creation of an innovative economy, support for small and medium businesses.

As it became known at the plenary session, in Tatarstan with the support of the Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov will be established The Fund of creative industry support, whose main task will be providing a grants for projects aimed at the development of the urban environment.

"In the information age we can talk about the formation of a particular sector of the economy, which is based on intellectual property -"creative economy".  Experts point out that its basic elements are the technology, talent and tolerance.

These "3 T" our republic has. Tatarstan is aimed not only to meet global trends, but also to be one step ahead. Therefore, the creative industry, which formed the new economic and social model, are our great interest.

Our republic increasingly creates a special environment attractive to the creative class that will create high-tech and competitive products, including by means of foreign investments", - said Talia Minullina.
