Sweden-Tatarstan: towards new horizons

Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina presented investment opportunities of Tatarstan to the Swedish delegation at the SymbioCity seminar. The main theme of the seminar is the concept of sustainable urban development.

In her presentation TIDA Chief Executive told about Tatarstan, the competitive advantages of the republic, modern facilities and investment infrastructure creating a special urban environment conducive to the development of creative industries.

"Cooperation with the Swedish business is very interesting for us, the Scandinavian country is known for its innovative solutions in various fields. Our republic is interested in large-scale cooperation, including in attracting high-tech investment", - said TIDA Chief Executive.

Taliya Minullina previously attended a meeting of the Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with delegation headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sweden in the Russian Federation Veronika Bard Bringeus. The participants expressed interest in increasing cooperation, including in areas such as transport, environment, health and engineering.

The delegation of the Kingdom, which includes representatives of 12 companies, will visit a number of investment areas of Tatarstan and take part in other activitiesof  Days of Sweden, which holds in the republic on 14-17 of April.
