Turkish parliament speaker: Tatarstan has a very favorable investment climate

In Tatarstan formed a very favorable investment climate. This opinion was expressed by Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Cemil Cicek, staying on a visit to the Republic of Tatarstan. "Tatarstan – is a region with which we have historically very close relations based on a common culture, language and religion. Therefore, we can easily agree on cooperation, including the field of economy and trade. And many of our Turkish investors are ready to implement their projects. I think that the leadership of Tatarstan contributed to this they has created a very favorable investment climate, as well as our joint parliamentary activity. And we do not want to stop in this station but want to contribute to the expansion of our relations", - said Cemil Cicek. As part of a broad program at a meeting of the national representative body held the ceremony of signing the Memorandum on the further expansion of cooperation between the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. The agreement was signed in the year of the 25th anniversary of Tatarstan parliamentarism. In the Kazan Kremlin the delegation met with the Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The meeting was also attended by TIDA Chief Executive Taliya Minullina. The negotiators discussed the prospects and mechanisms of mutually beneficial cooperation, including the field of investment. The distinguished guest thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for the personal support of Turkish investment projects.

By the end of 2014 the share of Turkey's total amount of foreign investment in Tatarstan was 26.1% - 144,306.9 thousand dollars. Bilateral trade between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Republic of Turkey was 508.6 million US dollars, including exports - 183.2 million US dollars, import - 325.4 million US dollars.
