Tatarstan-China: cooperation is activated

In Tatarstan from 25 to 30 April 2015 stays a delegation of business circles of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and the Saybey District of Hebei Province of China, which visit is prepared by  Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.

Within the business program the guests of the Asian country are introduced with the investment infrastructure, visit agricultural enterprises, meet with representatives of state bodies and local self-government of Tatarstan.

On April 27 in the House of Government the delegation met with Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the meeting was attended by TIDA Chief Executive Taliya Minullina.

"China is one of the priorities of attracting investment to our country and the republic. Businesses in China have expressed interest in implementing large-scale projects in the agricultural sector, including in the field of animal husbandry and vegetable production, which corresponds to the interests of the Republic of Tatarstan. Currently being developed parameters and mechanism of implementation of the projects under the regime of "single window" investment-support cases", - commented the meeting TIDA Chief Executive Taliya Minullina.

In December 2014 TIDA and Saybey Chamber of Commerce signed a memorandum "About understanding and cooperation". It reflects the interest of the business circles of China to invest capital in the agro-industrial complex and the establishment of modern agricultural base in the territory of Tatarstan. In March Kazan was visited by the delegation of Xinjiang region, which also discussed issues of mutual cooperation.
