A business breakfast with Turkish businessmen in Ankara

On April 30 in Ankara held a business breakfast with representatives of business circles of the Republic of Turkey. The event was attended by Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Turkey Nihat Zeybekdzhi and Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina, Top-managers of major corporations, including those who have already invested in the economy of Tatarstan.

So, LLC "Kastamonu Integrated Wood Industry" CEO Onur Guven, which implemented the project to build a large wood production in the SEZ "Alabuga", thanked the leadership of Tatarstan for the formation of a favorable investment climate in the republic.

Turkish Airlines CEO Temel Kotil said that direct flights from Istanbul to Kazan very popular and perspective, the number of flights need to be increased.

The event was part of the Tatarstan-Turkish Forum, which took place in the Marriott Ankara.

TIDA Chief Executive Taliya Minullina, attended the event, thanked the businessmen for effective cooperation, underscoring that Turkey ranks first in the number of commercial organizations with foreign capital registered in the territory of Tatarstan (278 companies), while its share in the amount of foreign investment in the republic’s economy more than a quarter.

TIDA Chief Executive held a series of bilateral meetings with existing and potential investors, planned negotiations on new projects.

"Turkish businessmen pointed out that Tatarstan is attractive for its openness and provides a favorable position for entering the capacious Russian market. During this year we became even closer, our cooperation moved to a new level. More recently, in March 2015 held Tatarstan-Turkish Business Forum in Kazan, today, a month later holds the Turkish- Tatarstan Forum. Such activities are effective forms of business communication that allow to develop contacts and initiate new investment projects", - said TIDA Chief Executive.
