Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the House of Government of the Republic of Tatarstan met the representative delegation headed by the Special Adviser to the Prime Minister of Japan Eiichi Hasegawa. The meeting was attended by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina.
Diplomats and representatives of corporations of Japan arrived in Kazan the day before in order to study the investment potential of the republic and identify areas for further cooperation. The visit was prepared by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency with the participation of the Investment and Venture Fund of Tatarstan.
During the meeting in the meeting room of the Cabinet of Ministers were discussed future areas of cooperation in such fields as engineering, agriculture, oil, construction, science and education. Members of the delegation underscored that they are interested in strengthening cooperation with Tatarstan on a wide range of issues, including the sphere of high technologies. The head of the Japanese delegation thanked Tatarstan Investment Development Agency for the excellent organization of the visit.
Within the visit, which will last several days, representatives of the island nation will visit the objects of investment infrastructure - SEZ "Alabuga", Kama Industrial Park "Master", technopolis "Himgrad" and a number of other areas, will hold meetings with the leadership of the various companies.
