Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has launched a new production. The opening ceremony of the "Havi Logistics" distribution center and "Huhtamaki Foodservise Alabuga" plant took place on the territory of the Special Economic Zone "Alabuga" on June 3. The event was attended by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina.
The "Huhtamaki Foodservise Alabuga" plant will produce disposable tableware for "McDonald's". Construction of the facility began in April 2014. The cost of the logistics center is estimated at 599.9 million rubles. The area of the warehouse complex is 5832 square meters, administrative and living - 1080 sq. m. The distribution center will be able to handle 25.5 thousand tons of products per year. The main clients of the new projects will be public catering objects.
As note the representatives of the new residents of the Special Economic Zone, starting the project is an innovative solution for supply chain management, the "one window" concept implementation and the availability of comprehensive logistics infrastructure that provides the best conditions for storage and transportation of food. The Huhtamaki Foodservice company offers a complex solution for disposable tableware and packaging for any catering. All products meet international quality standards. The "Huhtamaki Foodservise" company's factory, opened in the SEZ, became the second plant of the company in Russia for the production of disposable tableware and packaging for the catering market.
Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina said: "The opening of a new high-tech production in the territory of our republic, the creation of which began a year ago, is another perspective for potential investors: Tatarstan provides a unique opportunity for the most ambitious projects that the interests of all: the state, business and society".
