Rustam Minnikhanov: TIDA – is the entry point for opening production facilities in Tatarstan

Tatarstan Investment Development Agency is the entry point for the opening production in Tatarstan and works with almost all municipal regions of Tatarstan.

This was stated by Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at a meeting with businessmen of Naberezhnye Chelny and Zakamye region within the project for the organization of interaction between government and business in the Republic of Tatarstan "Business and power: a frank conversation". The event took place in the IT-park in Naberezhnye Chelny.

About investment told Vice-president of "Opora Rossii” for cooperation with political parties and public associations, a member of TIDA Public Council Azat Gazizov. He noted that TIDA increasingly focused on large-scale production projects.

The leader of the republic said that TIDA is also works with small and medium-sized businesses - in the sphere of opening the production (by attracting foreign direct investment and investment in fixed assets from extra-budgetary sources).

Naturally, when begun to talk about the Agency, Rustam Minnikhanov asked to join the dialogue TIDA Chief Executive Taliya Minullina.

"Dear entrepreneurs, we invite you to cooperation. We are looking forward to you", - said TIDA Chief Executive.

During the conversation with the business community discussed issues such as export promotion, creation of industries’ import substitution, connection to communications, the development of investment infrastructure, the implementation of measures to support and promote small and medium-sized businesses. The meeting was attended by over 100 entrepreneurs, representatives of state bodies and local self-government.

"Tatarstan Investment Development Agency is actively involved in the implementation of the President's project on communication with the business community directly, face to face. Following the meeting with the leader of the Republic, no question is left ignored, some issues, including those related to the promotion of Tatarstan business in the global economic space and the development of investment infrastructure are considered by TIDA", - said TIDA Chief Executive Taliya Minullina, who participated in the meeting.

The objective of the "Business and power: a frank conversation" project, as notes the Business Ombudsman of the Republic of Tatarstan Timur Nagumanov - is to hear first-hand issues and that are especially important in this difficult economic situation.

It is planned that in 2015 the meetings of the leadership of the republic with the entrepreneurs in the format of "Business and power: a frank conversation" will be held regularly during the year and will cover many areas of Tatarstan.
