The delegation of Czech Republic was invited to the Innopolis

Today Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina attended a meeting of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov with the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Irji Koliba. The event was held at the House of the Government of Tatarstan.
President Rustam Minnikhanov has repeatedly underscored the important role of the Czech Republic in the foreign economy relations of the republic. In particular, at a meeting with Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Jan Mládek, held on November 6, 2014 in Kazan Kremlin, Rustam Minnikhanov said that the Czech Republic is one of the leading foreign trade partners of Tatarstan.
During today's meeting the sides discussed perspective directions of mutually beneficial cooperation between the Czech Republic and Tatarstan, including industrial production and investment.
It is expected that during the visit the Czech delegation will take part in the opening ceremony of Innopolis - "smart city" and a strong investment platform in Tatarstan.

Tatarstan is one of the six regions of the Russian Federation, approved by the Government of the Czech Republic as a priority for cooperation. In June 2011 in Kazan opened a visa center of the Czech Republic.
In March 2014 a contract was signed between the Czech company «FAVEA» and JSC «Tatkhimpharmpreparaty" for the construction of plant for the production of drugs in the form of ointments and gels. Also cooperate in the field of engineering, agriculture, urban infrastructure.
There is a cooperation of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan with the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. Agreement on scientific and technical cooperation was signed in 2010 in Prague. In May 2014 in the Czech Republic for the fourth time took place the Prague School "Salat".
