CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “Saint-Gobain” company Pierre-Andre de Shalandar plans to visit Tatarstan. This was announced during the meeting of the Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and CEO of representation of the "Saint-Gobain" company in Russia Gonzaga Arnou de Pire at SPIEF 2015 (St. Petersburg International Economic Forum). The meeting was attended Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina.
It is expected that in July the Head of the French company will participate in the solemn opening ceremony of the plant in the special economic zone "Alabuga". Enterprise ("Automotive Glass Alliance Rus") for the production of glass and insulation materials is already running in test mode.
During the meeting the leader of the republic said that today – is "the most profitable time to implement projects in Russia". Moreover, Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his confidence that the company's products will be in demand in Russia and the CIS.
Taliya Minullina, participated in the meeting, said: "In TIDA Board in February 2015 the President of Tatarstan underscored that work with European companies will continue. The opening of high-tech production of French investors is a signal to the West and world companies: investing in Tatarstan is profitable and perspective".
