Deputy Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia: "I promise that the next visit to Russia I will visit Tatarstan. We are ready to invest in Tatarstan"

In the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum-2015 Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Deputy Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud. In accordance with the hierarchy of the Middle Eastern country Mr. Mohammed Bin Salman Al Saud is the third person in the state. The meeting was attended by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina.

The heir of Prince of Saudi Arabia addressed to the leader of the republic: "I promise that the next visit to Russia I will visit Tatarstan. We are ready to invest in Tatarstan".

In turn, Rustam Minnikhanov has offered to invest in sectors such as the petrochemical complex, machine-building complex, information technologies and food. These areas are very promising, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized.

In addition, the Acting President noted that Tatarstan is an investment attractive republic, which has a modern infrastructure investment, versatile training system. "Many international companies have already located their production in Tatarstan",  - said Rustam Minnikhanov.

High Representative of Saudi Arabia proposed the create a working group and to send it to Tatarstan to explore investment opportunities. It is expected that soon the representatives of business circles of the Middle East state will arrive in Tatarstan.

In the new economy situation the work with the countries of the Muslim world has been activated. So, Tatarstan was presented at roadshow of Russian regions in Saudi Arabia in May and on June 15 the KazanSummit 2015 events was attended by President of the Islamic Development Bank Ahmed Mohammed Ali Al-Madani.
