29 June 2015, Monday

In recent years the Russian Federation takes an active work on systematic anti-corruption work. Thus, the President of Russia has introduced a new, more rigorous procedure of accountability of public officials; federal laws set clear criteria and constraints that determine the functioning of the state apparatus.

In such developed region of the Russian Federation as the Republic of Tatarstan systematic work on anti-corruption holds in accordance with federal and republican legislation using the best international practices, especially - Singaporean (active interaction with the city-state, where, according to international rankings, corruption is eradicated, carried out since 2010).

Active participation in the republican work takes Tatarstan Investment Development Agency - a government body that works closely with foreign investors and to provide public services efficiently, while accumulate best practices to prevent bribery and embezzlement.

The Agency is actively involved in the activities of the state program "The implementation of anti-corruption policy of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2015 - 2020 years", referred to at the meeting of the Commission on anti-corruption under Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive on June 26th.

A report on the implementation of the state program was made by Agency’s Chief Executive First Deputy Insaf Galiev: TIDA acts on the approved plan.

As noted at the meeting TIDA Chief Executive Taliya Minullina, the implementation of such a serious task as an all-round anti-corruption is only possible with the active participation of society, first of all - the young generation, which the rules of social behavior will largely determine the specifics of the functioning of state bodies. That's why TIDA pays great attention to work with young people.

About the appropriate projects told a member of the Public Council under TIDA, associate professor of human resource management of the Institute of Management, Economics and Finance of the KFU, PhD in Sociology Oksana Yureva. To the members of the commission were given examples of work carried out within the project "Smart Cards of KFU 3rd year students (" State and municipal management "), where activists presented their ideas on anti-corruption work in graphical form. In addition, members of the commission acquainted with an analysis of the periodical press on "Domestic and foreign experience of anti-corruption policy", made by students of the KFU 3rd year ("State and municipal management").

TIDA Chief Executive Taliya Minullina, closing meeting of the Commission, emphasized that the appropriate work should be carried out in close cooperation with the  Presidential Directorate of Anti-corruption Policy Issues, where will be transferred the proposals and report of TIDA’s work.
