On the morning of July 6 in the Kazan Kremlin Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met the Heads of youth delegations of BRICS summit. The meeting was attended by Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs of Russia Sergey Pospelov, Brazilia National Secretary for Youth Gabriel Medina de Toledo, Head of the Department for Youth of the India Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Shri Radzheev Gupta, Vice-president of the All-China Youth Federation Joey Changkya, Director of the National Youth Development Agency of South Africa Hatutshelo Ramukumba. The event was attended by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina.
BRICS I Youth Summit opened in Kazan on July 4. In Tatarstan came more than 200 delegates from Russia, Brazil, India, China and the Republic of South Africa - countries that form BRICS inter-state union. Speaking at the Kazan Kremlin on July 4, the Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said: "We are grateful to the Russian leadership for choosing Kazan as a place for the first BRICS Youth Summit. We have been waiting for this event".
During the meeting, which took place in the Kazan Kremlin, was signed "road map" - a plan of action for the development of youth cooperation of the BRICS countries (Cooperation Memorandum).
"Such events as BRICS Youth Summit expand the scope of work, it helps to implement the intentions not only in our country and the Republic, but also in other continents. Youth and humanities - an integral part of large-scale cooperation, including economic and investment", - said Taliya Minullina, attended the event.

BRICS – is an informal interstate association of Brazil, Russia, India, China and the Republic of South Africa. These countries occupy more than 25% of the land in the world, have 40% of the population and an joint gross domestic product (GDP) of 15.435 trillion dollar.
Brazil, Russia, India and China produce about 40% of wheat (over 260 million tons), 50% of pork (50 million tons), more than 30% of poultry meat (30 million tons), 30% of beef (about 20 million tons) of the world total index. In the BRIC countries concentrated 32% (0.5 billion hectares) of arable land worldwide.
On July 15, 2014 in Brazil signed an agreement on the creation of BRICS reserve currency pool worth over 100 billion dollar.
VII summit of the BRICS countries will be held in Ufa on July 8-10.
