7 million residents in Tatarstan: a new level of opportunities

In the forum “Tatarstan - support for business” held in Innopolis, Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov made a number of program initiatives.

Commenting on the victory of Tatarstan in the national ranking of investment climate in the regions of the Russian Federation, Rustam Minnikhanov noted: "Tatarstan – is one of the most successful regions in the country. But we are far from perfect. We have lots and lots of work ... The main thing for us – is to hear that you are concerned about and what to do".

"We are not a small region, the republic's population - 3.8 million people. We have a great potential, we can increase the population on 2-3 million people, and this is a higher level of domestic consumption, other opportunities",- appealed to the participants of the forum Rustam Minnikhanov.

The leader of the Republic said that there is a need for continued and systematic work on the creation of jobs, education and resource centers, infrastructure that will be needed not only foreign investors but also local residents. As an example, the leader of the republic has given the international education school (Alabuga International School in Yelabuga region), where was created all necessary conditions for the education of children, including foreign investors.

Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina notes:

"The increase of the population, including through the involvement of a skilled workforce is one of the tasks defined in the Strategy 2030. Tatarstan today is also the center of attraction, but today we are talking about the transition to a qualitatively new level - to become a global competitive sustainable region, the "Volga-Kama" growth pole driver. The greater the population will live and work in Tatarstan and will better the human capital, the greater will be willing to invest and build the production in our republic. For Tatarstan this is first of all a new opportunities of self-realization and development of infrastructure".

In Innopolis on July 15-16 holds the All-Russian Forum of small and medium-sized businesses "Tatarstan - support for business", organized by the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and the public organization of small and medium business "Opora Rossii". The forum is held with the aim of promoting the idea of ​​entrepreneurship and to demonstrate the opportunities of Tatarstan in the field of support and development of small and medium-sized businesses in the region, it is one of the largest in the region open areas for dialogue between entrepreneurs, investors and authorities.

The event's program includes discussions on business development, presentation of opportunities of the new city, the demonstration of the largest infrastructure areas for business development in Tatarstan, master classes of the leading Russian experts. Within the forum holds the "Opora Rossii" Congress leaders from more than 50 regions.
