Karelia is interested in studying the experience of Tatarstan in the sphere of investment

 On July 24, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency held a working meeting with the delegation of the Republic of Karelia.

Representatives of business circles of the north-western region of the Russian Federation arrived in Tatarstan to exchange experience in the sphere of economic and investment policies and establishing and strengthening business ties.

 Head of the delegation, Deputy minister of economic development of the region Sergey Alimpiev emphasized that Karelia is interested in studying the successful experience of Tatarstan in the creation of support of investment infrastructure and entrepreneurship, the administration of territories with special economic status, practical implementation of regional investment standard.

"We understand the logic of Tatarstan: attract investments, funds for their land - create the objects of a real estate and industrial companies, economic growth, new jobs, increasing tax revenue", - said Sergey Alimpiev.

As part of the visiting program on July 23-24 the delegation visited the objects of investment infrastructure in Tatarstan (in particular, technopolis "Himgrad") and a number of industrial enterprises, held meetings at the Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan and several other ministries.
