Global brand at a meeting of the Board of Directors of JSC "Tatneftekhiminvest-Holding"

Today in the House of Government of the Republic of Tatarstan held a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of JSC "Tatneftekhiminvest-Holding", chaired by Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The event was attended by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina, a member of the board of directors of the company.
With one of the presentations at the meeting presented the representative of the global brand 3M - a top manager of JSC "3M Russia" Peter Korotkov, who spoke in detail about the activities and new technology of the company.
So, during the presentation the top manager described the high-tech (downhole ceramic sand) filters through which oil production can be carried out almost in any environment.

Due to such properties as hardness, corrosion resistance and special design provides a high resistance to erosive wear and critical sand aerial phenomena, laminar flow, and the inability to lock channels. Use of these devices can increase the turnaround time of the well, to ensure getting the fluid without sand, to prevent proppant particles and gravel packing, protect the downhole and surface equipment, that is, eliminate the extra costs of repair and replacement of equipment.
TIDA Chief Executive Taliya Minullina emphasizes the value of investors of global brands to the country and the republic:

«3M - it is the world's largest brand. What they now went to Tatarstan, says about the prospects of the Russian market. This is one of the few global companies that spends a lot of money on developing innovations that extremely important for us. Innovative solutions are rarely cheap, many of these solutions are really much money, but in the long term strategic economic benefits we get due to the effect they produce.
A striking example of this innovation - the pipe project. Coverage 3M ™ Scotchkote ™ Pipe Renewal Liner 2400, is sprayed by centrifugal installation on the inner surface of the pipe, allows trenchless repair of water supply systems. As a result, the service life of infrastructure increases by more than 50 years, there is a reduction of works by almost 90% on opening, filling and restoration of pavement over the work related to the complete replacement of the pipeline".

The first line of the plant in the SEZ "Alabuga" is ready to work and by the end of 2015 will produce anti-corrosion coatings for the oil and gas industry. Expected production capacity - 2.5 million liters per year. 3M Anti-corrosion coatings are already used in the construction of pipelines "Power of Siberia", "Turkish Stream", "Central Asia-China".

Recall that 3M investment projects in Tatarstan accompanies  by TIDA. Today, the company is working closely with Group of companies "TAIF" and prepares proposals for PJSC "Tatneft".

Within the meeting was also a keynote speech on the results of activity of the enterprises of petrochemical complex of the republic in the first half of 2015 by holding's CEO  Raffinat Yarullin. As he said, the production growth amounted to 1.2%. Products delivered cost of 579 billion rubles, which is 16% more than the same period in 2014.
