The development of infrastructure projects in cooperation with Chinese construction companies

Today the Agency held a working meeting with representatives of the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation before their meeting with Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov. The meeting was attended by Head of the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (ССЕСС) in Russia Peng Minkuan, President of the Investment Fund (Hong Kong) Yuan Shentszyun, "China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation" CEO Vyacheslav Kornilaev, Managing Director of JSC "Federal Center for Project Finance" of "Vnesheconombank" Alexander Yashechkin. From the Republic of Tatarstan the meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister of Transport and Road Management Andrei Yegorov and Artem Chukin and CEO of the State Unitary Enterprise "Gorelektrotransport" of Nizhnekamsk Raphael Khabibulin.

ССЕСС engaged in the construction of railways and infrastructure, also participates in many projects of urban rail in three provinces of China.

At the meeting Taliya Minullina gave details about the activities of TIDA, mechanisms of projects support on a "single" window principle, infrastructure and investment niches of the republic.

Chinese companies are actively involved in infrastructure projects such as the construction of HSH, the development of transport roads. The meeting was chaired by Taliya Minullina where were  discussed the possibility of financial models for this and other projects.

Negotiations with the delegation of the Chinese corporation continued in the meeting with the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov, where corporation’s management stated desire to cooperate in the implementation of transport projects, including the construction of the section of Moscow-Kazan highway. The Prime Minister thanked the delegation for their interest to the Republic and as a successful example of working with Chinese companies showed the project of the Chinese company Haier for the production of refrigeration equipment and household appliances at the site of the "Master" Kama Industrial Park.

For reference: The construction of the road through a number of Russian regions "Europe-Western China" HSH consists from the introduction of new and modernization of existing motorways. In the Republic of Tatarstan will pass the Moscow-Kazan road, where China has offered to invest 300 billion rubles in the spring of this year. Tatarstan has a positive experience with the Chinese construction corporations, for example for the implementation of the construction of a complex for production of ammonia, methanol and urea OJSC "Ammonium", which was successfully completed this year.
