The UAE opens a Trade office of Russia: the decision is aimed at the development of economic relations and investment cooperation between the countries

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed a decree "On conclusion of the Agreement to open in Abu Dhabi Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in the United Arab Emirates by exchanging of notes between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the United Arab Emirates". During the meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Emirates Commission on Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation UAE representatives expressed interest in expanding Russia's economic presence in the country and agreed to the opening of Russian trade representative office in Abu Dhabi.
Signed decree concludes the bilateral agreement on the opening of Russian trade representative office in Abu Dhabi by exchange of notes. The draft agreement corresponds to Russia's international obligations and consistent with the provisions of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union of 29 May 2014, says the Russian Economic Development Ministry. Decisions directed to the development of economic relations and investment cooperation between the countries.
It should be noted that a cooperation with countries of the Muslim and Arab world is one of the priorities of foreign economic activities of Tatarstan.
Every year representatives of the republic participate in the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) Forum, which focuses on the international strategic and investment cooperation, in 2015 at the Forum represented 500 companies from 140 countries. In the AIM also take part world's leading scientists, experts and practitioners.
The organizer of the exhibition of investment and economic potential of Tatarstan within AIM is Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.
Since 2013 works Trade and Economic Mission of the Republic of Tatarstan in Dubai (United Arab Emirates), established by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan in accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan from 25.04.2013 N 197.
