Kazan holds the III Republican forum of socially oriented non-profit organizations

On August 19 in "Korston" to be held a plenary session of the III Republican Forum of socially oriented non-profit organizations with the participation of the Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The event to be attended by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina.
Republican Forum of socially oriented non-profit organizations is one of the biggest events in the public life of Tatarstan, more than 1,000 people have discussed topical issues of society (they are representatives of non-profit organizations, members of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan, the public councils of municipalities, the ministries and departments of the republic, representatives of state and local government, business, science, the media).
On August 17-18 held sections (for example, on the topic "The effectiveness of non-profit organizations in implementing social services"), round tables and meetings.
Forum participants noted the growing role of socially oriented NGOs in solving critical issues of socio-economic development of the country.
The implementation of the proposals made by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at the II Republican forum of NGOs, as well as the implementation of the program of state support for the 2014-2016 largely contributed to the development of cooperation between NGOs and the government.
Joint activities to improve the quality of social services, public control over the work of natural monopolies, protection of the rights of individual citizens are the new directions of cooperation.
Members of the public supported the further expansion of the powers of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan as an important center of the entire social movement. There was also noted a need to further enhance of the transparency of NGO activities, publicity in the implementation of social projects and the provision of social services to the population.
There will be also adopted an appeals to the State Council, the Cabinet, the Public Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan, the business community, local authorities and the media.
In the final part of the plenary session Rustam Minnikhanov presents diplomas and badges of honor to the winners of the Prize of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan for the contribution to the development of civil society institutions in the Republic of Tatarstan.
