On Thursday, 10 September at Pestrechinsky region (Koschakovskoe rural settlement) will begin construction of wholesale trade and logistics center "Agromir Kazan", which has no analogues in Russia. The presentation and the ceremony of the project will be attended by Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
The beginning of the event is at 11-00.
The first phase of the project will be completed and will begin work in the IV quarter of 2016. ORC "Agromir Kazan" will completely begin to work in 2021.
The project to create wholesale trade and logistics center "Agromir Kazan" was included in the list of priority projects in the second meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Chinese commission on investment cooperation, which was held on June 18, 2015 in St. Petersburg under the chairmanship of the First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Igor Shuvalov and Deputy Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Zhang Gaoli.
"Agromir Kazan" – is a diversified wholesale trade and logistics platform, which will allow to establish direct trade contacts between agricultural producers and buyers for wholesale segment, to determine a mutually acceptable to producers and consumers of the market price for the products of a single trading site in the republic, as well as to preserve and process agricultural products produced in Tatarstan.
The area of the first stage building will be 49 ha (total area planned for building - 148 ha). The area of the buildings being built in the first stage will be more than 150 thousand square meters. In the area of wholesale trade and logistics center will be located pavilions for wholesale trade of fruits and vegetables, meat and fish, warehouses, the area for long-term storage and processing of agricultural products, parking for cars and trucks, the trade building comprising offices, cafe and hotel complex.
In the wholesale trade and logistics center was used an innovative approach to organizing the flow of goods (the ability to set different transport’s speed modes, convenient approaches and entrances to the center). In addition, the food trade will be carried out between 06:00 and 22:00, which will allow buying the freshest products at a convenient time. On the territory will work phytosanitary laboratory, which ensures quality control of the goods.
The investor is "NGC" (National Grocery Corporation). This company is actively engaged in the development of the domestic agricultural market, supports primarily Russian manufacturer and thus makes a significant contribution to food security.
The project took place thanks to the direct support of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the government of Tatarstan. The project is supported by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.
The volume of investments of the first stage of the project is 9 billion rubles. Starting of the wholesale trade and logistics center "Agromir Kazan" in its first phase will make working more than 117 sq. m. of commercial space (in 2021 - 357 thousand square meters), will create more than 2,000 jobs. Tax payments to budgets of all levels are estimated at almost 500 million rubles annually.

"Agromir Kazan" is not just wholesale trade and logistics center, but a real market city, completely elaborate and convenient for both producers and consumers of agricultural products, - emphasized the speaker of "National Grocery Corporation", Construction manager Vladimir Arefiev. - The project will establish a fair market price for the products, will contribute to solving problems of import substitution, will allow to trade in accordance with the best international practices and standards. The successful experience of Kazan in the future will be extended to other regions".
