First-hand words:
Rustam Minnikhanov, Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan:
"It was a lot of plans on how to use the geographical position of our republic. Tatarstan - is one of the leading actors of agricultural production, and it is important to promote our products. Therefore this world-class center must be. To build a wholesale trade and logistics center in the republic - not an easy task, but the project will fundamentally change the relationship between the producer and the consumer. I am confident that the center will start working by the end of next year, but now need to think about further expansion of the site".
Stanislav Voskresensky, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia:
"Tatarstan can really work with investors. This glory is booming all over the country, therefore no accident that such a large-scale project is beginning to be realized in Tatarstan. This project is of great investor interest in the Asia-Pacific region. That is why the project is already included in the list of priority projects specially set up by the Intergovernmental Russian-Chinese commission on investment cooperation. We hope that the project will get rid of unnecessary intermediaries, and will make the supply chain more transparent, and most importantly – will open access of domestic producers to our stores. We at the federal level will support such projects".
Vladimir Arefiev, NGC Speaker, "Agromir Kazan" construction manager:
"Less than a year ago we came to the region to create a wholesale trade and logistics center of the future. Very soon, a modern, high-tech, innovation center "Agromir Kazan" will open the doors for farmers of the republic and the surrounding regions. 700 thousand tons of high quality products will be sold each year only after the commissioning of the first stage. Today we have an aim create a direct access of goods from the producer directly to the consumer. It will be high quality and fresh products grown in Russia. This is the import substitution and ensuring the country's food security. It is important that we ensure healthy competition and fair and transparent price forming".
Taliya Minullina, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive:
"At first closed negotiations we were surprised by the scale of the project, but it is real, as well as 9 billion rubles of the first stage, which has already been invested.
Tatarstan "Agromir" – is a federal project that will meet the demand of the population of Tatarstan and other regions of Russia, primarily - the Volga region.
