Tatarstan President instructs Taliya Minullina to choose a land for the localization of the "Castorama" brand in the republic

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with the Director of real estate and development of «Castorama Rus» company Michel Shez. The meeting, which was attended by TIDA Chief Executive Taliya Minullina, held within the International Investment Forum "Sochi-2015" in the pavilion of the Republic of Tatarstan, which has been prepared by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.

The President noted that "Castorama" is one of the largest retail companies specializing in products for home and decoration, it is widely known in the Russian market, where the products of this brand is in great demand.

"In our republic successfully operates a number of retail chains selling household and decoration goods. We will be happy if such a large company as "Castorama" enters in Tatarstan market", - said the President of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Michel Shez, in turn, noted that Tatarstan is widely known in the world as a reliable partner and an economically strong region of Russia.

Following the meeting, the President instructed TIDA Chief Executive Taliya Minullina to choose land for "Castorama".

At present, the issue of the localization of the brand in Tatarstan is being worked out.
