The implementation of the investment project to build a plant for the production of juices and logistics center Benkons Group starts in Tatarstan

Today held a ceremony devoted to the beginning of implementation of the investment project to build a plant for the production of juices with the logistics center of the Azerbaijani company Benkons Group. The event was held on the territory of Laishevsky region of Tatarstan (Sokury village).

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, opening the ceremony, said that the investment project is quite large and has no analogues in Russia, focused on the sale of products not only in the republic but also in neighboring regions. "I hope in 2017 we'll be drinking the juices produced in this plant", - said Rustam Minnikhanov.

The project implementation began by pressing the button on the remote control: cement filled the first cubic meters of foundation.

In the plant, which will has one-shift capacity of 53.856 million liters per year (25 500 liters per hour), natural juices from organic fruit will be produced on the main production lines: Tetrapak (1 liter - 7000 liters per hour, 02 liter - 3500 liters per hour), the line of glass - 5000 liters, PET - 10,000 liters per hour.

"Our plant will produce natural juice products with the latest technology that will help to develop agriculture in the region", - said Benkons Group Commercial Director Elin Zalov. The investor’s representative also noted that the project contributes to the development of friendly relations between the republics and the people; it is implemented with the direct support of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, and thanked Tatarstan Investment Development Agency for comprehensive support of the project.

A preliminary agreement on the working out of the project was reached during the visit of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive (TIDA) Taliya Minullina to the Azerbaijan Republic in December, 2014. On February 3, 2015, the project was presented to the President of Tatarstan on the Board of the Agency, and was signed a cooperation agreement between the company and TIDA.

Just 10 months have passed from the first negotiations with such a large group of companies to the official start of the project, and it is a signal to investors around the world", - said Taliya Minullina, TIDA Chief Executive - state body, which supports invest-cases in Tatarstan on the principle of "one window".

The volume of investment in the project in Tatarstan will exceed 4 billion rubles. As a result of the localization of the brand in Tatarstan will be created more than 250 direct jobs. The total area is 75 hectares, 12 hectares - built-up area.

It is planned that the plant and logistics center will start work in early 2017.
