Taliya Minullina presents investment potential of Tatarstan to the business community of 80 million Sichuan province (China)

Today began a visit of Tatarstan delegation headed by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in Sichuan province.

Within the (Tatarstan-Sichuan Business Forum Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina held a presentation of the investment potential of Tatarstan for business of Sichuan Province - the province is a strategic as a center of scientific and technical potential. The population is over 80 million people, the automotive, aerospace, metallurgy, food processing, construction textile industries and agriculture are developed.
During the presentation TIDA Chief Executive gave details about the investment climate, investment infrastructure facilities, including the SEZ "Alabuga", "Innopolis" and created Sviazhsky SEZ, sites at the municipal level. Taliya Minullina emphasized that Tatarstan-Chinese cooperation is productive (gave the example of Haier high-tech company, which has successfully invested in Tatarstan) and has a huge potential. At the same time a member of the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan noted that in June was the visit of the delegation of China headed by Chairman of Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (parliament) Zhang Detszyan to Tatarstan. During the visit, the Head of the National Assembly, said: "Tatarstan is a leading Russian region in cooperation with our country, and we have great potential of cooperation. I am sure that we are waiting for a broad prospect and bright future in the framework of cooperation".
"The visit of a statesman of a such high level in our republic opened a new page in the history of cooperation between Tatarstan and China - will be opened the Chinese Consulate in Kazan. I am sure, now the Sichuan also has a strong foundation for fruitful cooperation between the republic and the province", - said Taliya Minullina.
The forum is attended by the heads of departments of the Committee on Economic Reforms and Development of Sichuan Province, Sichuan Department of Commerce, the Committee for Management of State resources of Sichuan Province, Economic Information Committee of Sichuan Province and Chinese companies.
The forum also held sessions in areas such as construction, agriculture, science, petrochemical, machinery.
TIDA Chief Executive moderated the section on infrastructure development, which was also attended by the Minister of Transport and Roads of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Safin, Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of Tatarstan Yuri Alyashev and "Kazan Fair" CEO Lev Semenov.
In addition, Taliya Minullina gave an interview to the Sichuan TV and Radio Company, which is one of the largest in the country and includes more than 10 TV and radio channels on various subjects, including business and economic.
TIDA Chief Executive, in particular, told about the perspective directions of cooperation of the Republic of Tatarstan and Sichuan.
"We are ready to cooperate on a wide range of issues, including in the field of high-tech investment. Today we are convinced that the Sichuan business community is interested in it", - emphasized Taliya Minullina.
