The Republic of Tatarstan is active in the development of foreign economic cooperation and attracting investment in the economy.
As part of the working program in Japan, members of the Tatarstan delegation participated in the annual international forum “Science and Technology in Society” in Kyoto, the Russian-Japanese Advisory Council on modernizing the economy, visited the "Smart City Fujisawa".
On the "Day of Russian regions" of Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair (the Russian-Chinese Expo 2015) (China) held a presentation of trade-economic and investment potential of the Republic of Tatarstan for the business circles of Russia, China and the Asia-Pacific region, was signed an agreement on the establishment of Tatarstan-Chinese agroindustry development fund (Tatarstan agro-Chinese investment fund). Document was signed by TIDA Chief Executive Taliya Minullina and Jinggong International Group Co. LTD (China) CEO Mr. Liu Huanlin. A meeting was held with the leadership of the Gunda corporation. Also meetings were held with the business community of Sichuan Province.
During the visit to the Republic of Turkey was made a presentation of the investment potential of Tatarstan for businesses province of Kocaeli, meetings were held in the framework of the international conference «Match4Industry Business Matching Event».
Representatives of Tatarstan got acquainted with the GOSB Organized Industrial Zone in the municipality of Gebze.
An agreement on twinning between Tyulyachinskiy municipal region of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Municipality of Gebze of Kocaeli province, and the Agreement between the Chamber of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan and Industry Chamber of Kocaeli was signed.
A number of investment projects on the territory of Tatarstan have been worked out.
