The economic and investment potential of Tatarstan is presented to more than 100 companies in St. Petersburg

 On October 22 in St. Petersburg hosted the presentation of economic and investment potential of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The event was held at the Chamber of Commerce of St. Petersburg with the participation of the heads of more than 100 companies, heads of consular centers in Estonia, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany and other countries, representatives of the Russian regions.
The event was organized by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in St. Petersburg and Leningrad region, Saint-Petersburg Chamber of Commerce.
President of Chamber of Commerce Vladimir Katenev, welcoming the guests, said about the strengthening the business partnership between the two regions. He also added that Tatarstan is an example for many regions of Russia and a leader in many areas.
The Deputy Chairman of the Investment Committee of St. Petersburg Dmitry Sinkin greeted the guests.
Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in St. Petersburg and Leningrad region Renat Valiullin noted that Tatarstan has a strong industrial potential in various spheres, including the field of oil production, refining, petrochemicals, machinery, aircraft, helicopter building, instrument making, shipbuilding, agriculture, and trade turnover of St. Petersburg and the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014 was more than 10 billion rubles.
"Today is the final stage of an updated agreement on trade-economic, scientific-technical, social and cultural cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and St. Petersburg", - said the Permanent Representative.
Investment economic potential of the republic presented TIDA Chief Executive Deputy Marat Bukharaev. He told the audience about the major investment projects, industrial parks and areas of the republic.
Also on this day at a meeting in the "Agency for Strategic Investments" of the city discussed investment cooperation and coordination of cooperation between the authorities of the two regions.
The agreement to hold the event was reached between TIDA Chief Executive Taliya Minullina and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan Renat Valiullin in July 2015, at the same time delegation the business delegation of St. Petersburg and Leningrad region visited Tatarstan.
