The investment potential of Tatarstan presented to the business community of Bahrain

A joint meeting of the Russian-Bahraini and Bahrain-Russian Business Council, chaired by the president of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce Khalid Al-Moayed and Chairman of Vnesheconombank Vladimir Dmitriev was held in Sochi.
The event was attended by more than 30 top managers and representatives of banks and companies, including the hi-tech industries.
During the meeting the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive First Deputy Insaf Galiev presented investment potential of Tatarstan. In addition, from Republic of Tatarstan presented a representatives of Tatarstan Export Corporation and Ak Bars Bank. Bahrain businesses got acquainted with the economic, export and financial opportunities of the republic, perspective projects in the public health, innovation, information technologies, agriculture, as well as Islamic finance spheres.
Following the meeting agreed to organize a business mission of the Russian Federation in the Kingdom of Bahrain in December 2015, as well as the participation of representatives of the business community and the representatives of Chamber of Commerce of Bahrain in KazanSummit in 2016.

Vnesheconombank heads the Russian-Bahraini Business Council (RBDS) since 2007. During this time held 8 meetings and 5 meetings of the leadership of Business Councils of Russia and Bahrain, during which the parties discussed the state and perspectives of development of relations between the business communities of two countries, including the specific areas of mutually beneficial cooperation.
