On November 2, 2015 in the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, chaired by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development Alexander Tsybulsky held a meeting of the Expert Council on industrial special economic zones.
The meeting approved the projects of 3 new companies-residents of SEZ "Alabuga". The total amount of declared investments in these projects is 11.5 billion rubles.
The investment project of the "Kamateh" company involves the construction of a plant for the production of maleic anhydride - the raw material for the production of epoxy resins. The planned volume of production of maleic anhydride in liquid form and in the form of granules in the special economic zone "Alabuga" is 40 thousands tons per year. In the future, the project provides an increase in power up to 60 thousand tons a year. The planned number of employees - more than 157 people. The planned start of production - the second quarter of 2018.
Mushroom Company LLC "Mushrooms of Tatarstan" plans to launch the production of mushroom factory capacity of 5600 tons per year. It is planned to create 144 jobs. Term of the start of production - 2017.
The investment project of the "AyDzhiEs Agro" company involves the construction of a plant for the production of compost and mushroom cultivation. Planned volumes of growing mushrooms amounts 3600 tons per year. The planned number of employees -165 people. Planned production start - quarter 2017.
Also at the meeting of the Expert Council was considered amendments to the agreement on industrial-production activity of JSC "INTERSKOL" to add to the list of products of small-scale mechanization. This will give the factory "INTERSKOL-Alabuga" an opportunity to produce not only power tools but also welding machines and masks, snow machines, compressors, miter saws. Increased investment in the project will amount to 512 million rubles. It is planned to create an additional 150 new jobs.
The meeting reviewed the company's application for operations in the Lipetsk region (SEZ "Lipetsk"), the Astrakhan region (SEZ "Lotus"), the Sverdlovsk region (SEZ "Titanium Valley"), the Pskov region (SEZ "Moglino" and the Moscow region (SEZ "Dubna").
Significant amounts of companies’ investment, representing various sectors of the production sector, demonstrates the growing interest of investors in special economic zones of Russia noted in the press release of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.
