KASTAMONU Company, which in 2014 run a woodprocessing plant in the Republic of Tatarstan, continues to increase the production of MDF/HDF and laminate flooring.
The factory since the beginning of the year produced 8 million m² of laminate. The plans for 2016 - to reach the volume of 20 million m² of laminate flooring in annual terms, says the press service of the company.
Products of KASTAMONU focused on the Russian market and overseas.
About 75% of the laminate produced at the company in the SEZ "Alabuga" has sold in Russia. 25% is exported to the countries of Central Asia, the Baltic states and the Caucasus, as well as China, Turkey, Belarus and Moldova. Sales Geography of KASTAMONU laminate («Floorpan» trademark) is constantly expanding. This is largely due to the convenient geographical location of production with developed transportation and logistics infrastructure. "We systematically increase the pace of production at our factory in Russia and expanding the geography of sales. Despite the decline in the capacity of the Russian market of the laminate, now is developing a very favorable situation for the localized Russian producers. Suppliers from Europe and China can not compete in terms of price/quality and the market is gradually moves to a local manufacturer. This can be called a successful example of import substitution in the Russian market of the laminate", - emphasizes KASTAMONU Vice President Onur Guven.
The KASTAMONU company has 2 laminating line, each of which is capable of producing up to 540 slabs per hour. From the product line are made 31, 32 and 33 classes of the collection. The total number of articles (decoration) - more than 50.
"The Turkish business with a significant amount of assets, high technology and social responsibility is strategically important for Tatarstan, more than a quarter of all foreign direct investment in the republican economy are investments of Turkish companies. Such a result is largely the merit of KASTAMONU, which has become an example for others and one of the largest investors in the republic.
350 million dollars has already been invested to the project of the company in the SEZ "Alabuga", and in 2016, after the scheduled start of the second stage of the plant, the total investment will reach about 600 million dollars", - notes Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive, member of the Board of Directors of SEZ "Alabuga" Taliya Minullina.
