Delegation of the Kama cluster at the 10th Forum of Innovation and technological cooperation in Europe and China

On November 12, 2015 in China ended the 10th Forum of innovation and technological cooperation in Europe and China (ITKEK), which was attended by a delegation of the Kama innovative territorial industrial cluster of Tatarstan.
The event was attended by representatives of business circles of Russia, China, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Malta, Spain, Turkey, Britain, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Sweden.
At the session of business communication the representatives of Kama cluster within special business formats discussed the development of bilateral cooperation with Chinese enterprises in the sphere of industrial production, innovation, presented the economic potential of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Forum is organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, the State Committee for Development and Reform of China, China Council for the support of international trade, the People's Government of Shandong and Sichuan provinces and the Enterprise Europe Network.
The work involved the mayors ITKEK 10 strategic cities of China, presentations of the 30 most competitive innovation clusters in China: Beijing innovation cluster, a cluster of industrial computer software g.Chendu, park "Suzhou" high-tech industrial zones - Shenzhenya, Hangzhou, Shanghai area of IT-development of Nanjing and others.

In 2012, Kamsky innovative regional production clusters Republic of Tatarstan (hereinafter - Cluster) joined the list of innovative regional clusters, approved by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev (Order of 28.08.2012 № DM-P8-5060).
The cluster is located in the northeastern part of the Republic of Tatarstan on both banks of the Kama River, includes the urban district of Naberezhnye Chelny and five municipal districts: Elabuzhsky, Zainsky, Mendeleev, Nizhnekamsk and Tukaevsky.
Industry specialization of the cluster -oil and gas processing, petrochemicals and automotive. The volume of industrial production in the cluster is 667 billion rubles. It produces about 40% of Russian synthetic rubbers, 24% of plastics, every third Russian truck, and every third tire.
The Cluster focuses powerful innovative potential of defining this area as a point of growth not only of the Republic of Tatarstan but the Russian Federation as a whole. Key Cluster Investment Projects characterized by its unique and high added value.
So, the only European project to build an innovative complex of refineries and petrochemical plants "TANECO" will provide an unprecedented depth of oil processing - 97.9% (for comparison - the depth of oil refining in Russia does not exceed 80%, in the US - 92-93%, in Europe - 85-90%, in China - 85%). The cost of the project - 162.3 billion rubles. Terms - 2017.

The meeting of the 2025 Investors Club has ended in Kazan. The meeting took place in the Sapphire Conference Hall of the Noble Millenium Panorama 5* Hotel. Today, Taliya Minullina, Head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, spoke at the plenary session of the XVI Russian-Indian Business Dialogue in Moscow. The topic of the meeting is "Strengthening the strategic partnership between India and Russia in a changing world order."
