Turkish SEZ Gebze ready to attract investors in Tatarstan

Top management of the industrial area Gebze (Turkey) is ready to attract investors in Tatarstan. This was stated today by Chairman of the Gebze Organized Industrial Zone Vahit Yildirim during a working visit to the Republic of Tatarstan, which has been prepared by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.

In the Kazan Kremlin the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met the Turkish delegation. During the meeting, which was attended by TIDA Chief Executive Taliya Minullina, discussed the prospects of perspectives and mechanisms of interaction of investment infrastructure objects of Tatarstan and Turkey.

The success of the industrial zones in Turkey is linked to the planned development in the framework of a special program 2030, said Vahit Yildirim. According to him, the Turkish Republic is growing number of industrial areas, there are almost no any free area. The head of the Turkish SEZ emphasized that they are ready to attract not only Turkish, but also other investors. "The site of our industrial zones visit 35-37 thousand people, 40% of whom are Germans",  said Mr. Yildirim ..

"During the visit we are working on the issue of attracting management company Gebze on objects of investment infrastructure in Tatarstan or create a new industrial site. Among the possible options - the opening of a branch of the industrial zone in our republic, the registration of a new legal entity", said Taliya Minullina.

During a three-day visit, the delegation holds a number of meetings and visits objects of investment infrastructure in Tatarstan, including "Chistopol", "Alabuga", "Himgrad", Sviyazhsk interregional multimodal logistics center.

Earlier, during the visit to the Republic of Turkey (14-15 October), was held the presentation of investment potential of Tatarstan for businesses circles of province of Kocaeli - Turkey's industrial center, meetings were held in the framework of the international conference «Match4Industry Business Matching Event».
