Russian Export and Investment Forum in Moscow

REIF Russian Export and Investment Forum, organized by the Council for the development of foreign trade and international economic relations, was held on November 20, in the Analytical Center under the Government of the Russian Federation.
The event was attended by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive First Deputy Insaf Galiev and TIDA staff. The Forum has become a platform for meetings of Russian and foreign potential business partners, discussion the prospects and mechanism of goods export expansion on the international market and attracting investments into the economy of the country and regions.
The event opened with a plenary session on the theme "The Asian trend: Prospects for the development of foreign trade activities and investment cooperation". At a meeting attended the representatives of business circles of China, Malaysia, Thailand, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of the Russian Federation on the development of the Far East, the Eurasian Economic Commission.
The round table "Investment potential of Russian regions" presented investment opportunities of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In addition, TIDA’s employees held a number of meetings with potential investors and participated in the thematic session "Alternative Markets: how to attract investment?", the final meeting "The organization of trade development: Cooperation for Growth", where also presented the representatives of Chile, Ecuador, Brazil, Turkey, France and Mexico.
The forum created a favorable atmosphere for the exchange of ideas and contacts for further cooperation, noted participants of the event.
