Investors' Club: results of the year and plans for further development

Today in the Kazan Kremlin Tatarstan Investment Development Agency held a regular meeting of the Investors' Club with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. In addition to the investors a meeting was attended by Agency  Chief Executive Taliya Minullina, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, the Prosecutor of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildus Nafikov, heads of ministries and departments and local branches of the federal government, the State Duma of Russia and the State Council of Tatarstan.

The meeting began with the presentation of the movie, where the results of 2015 in the investment field in the Republic of Tatarstan were shown, as well as the situation in the world economy (for example, the top five countries in the world with absolute terms of GDP to the current date by the data of IMF).

The President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov addressed to the participants of the event, he emphasized the importance of direct contact with investors and noted the need for a platform that allows discussing the current situation and solving the problems faced by investors. "Our task is to give you confidence that your business will be maintained, in spite of all political and domestical situational moments. We need to give confidence to investors that as part of our agreements they will receive all necessary assistance. We are in the same boat, because the success of your business is the success of our republic," said Rustam Minnikhanov.

With the presentation of the new Tatarstan investment site presented Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Taliya Minullina. She told about the features and sections of this website, which will be available in 11 languages. "Tatarstan is to take its rightful place in the virtual world space. Site, which we are launching today, is only the beginning. It is necessary to maintain the language versions, update database projects, in the future would better to adapt the content to the user. For example, Japanese investors should firstly see the success stories of investment projects in Tatarstan with participation of Japanese investors and so on. Of course, the Agency will monitor the attendance of pages, improve the structure. There are mush work to be done,"- said Taliya Minullina. The new site was launched by all the participants of the meeting with their gadgets.

Later, the word was given to the investors who gave the results of their companies in the current year and shared the prospects for the coming years, in particular “Armstrong Building Products”, plant for the production of refrigeration equipment «Haier», the Finnish company "YIT Kazan". In addition, “Kikert Rus” and "Dzhoshkunoz-Alabuga" congratulated the participants of the meeting with the coming New Year. Also was raised a number of operational issues that have received urgent solutions.

Finally, Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the organizers and participants of the event. He again noted that such meetings will be systematic and take place once a quarter.
